While I do love directed projects, there is something so absolutely therapeutic about sketching. You're free to let your mind wander and the results for me always capture the greatest parts of the subconscious.
I think it's safe to say that these works both represent what drawing means to me and, by relation, what I love to draw. I am unabashedly a big fan of humor, seconded by a tendency toward quiet scenes. Most of these are done on whatever scratch paper I can find and using primarily sharpies, charcoal, or pencil.
